Based on the overwhelming popularity of the premier SOCET GXP® Boot Camp last year, BAE Systems will be offering this SOCET GXP orientation once again for novice users or individuals who are interested in learning more about SOCET GXP eXtreme Analysis™ functionality.
SOCET GXP Boot Camp is designed to introduce all potential users — image analysts, geospatial analysts, and GIS and mapping professionals — to the comprehensive tools, automated workflows, and advanced technology that SOCET GXP offers.
Participants have an opportunity to preview the SOCET GXP v3.1 operating environment and see push-button functionality built to streamline rigorous processes. BAE Systems support engineers navigate through the application to demonstrate fundamental concepts, introduce software terminology unique to SOCET GXP, and illustrate flexible customization options available for organizations, individual users, or workgroups.
This pre-conference session offers a glimpse into the SOCET GXP operating environment, menu structure, frequently used tools, typical workflows, and the fundamental concepts required to quickly create accurate image and map products. Topics covered include: exploiting imagery, extracting features, building templates, creating orthorectified products, working with terrain files, and sharing and disseminating final products.
After completing the full-day SOCET GXP Boot Camp, participants become familiar with the SOCET GXP working environment, which will provide a richer educational experience during the remainder of the week.
