SOCET GXP Boot Camp

On Monday, April 19,160 GXP User Conference attendees participated in SOCET GXP® Boot Camp at the conference venue, Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, in San Diego. This optional, pre-conference orientation covered core functionality of the SOCET GXP operating environment. BAE Systems’ customer support and training teams hosted SOCET GXP Boot Camp, which will enable users to have a richer educational experience for the duration of the conference.

SOCET GXP Boot Camp

Topics included the SOCET GXP menu structure, frequently used tools, typical workflows, and the fundamental concepts required to quickly create accurate image and map products. Customer support engineers used recent and historic satellite imagery of Haiti to illustrate how to use SOCET GXP’s numerous image exploitation and geospatial analysis tools to identify changes in images over time, extract features, build templates, create orthorectified products, work with terrain files, and share and disseminate final products.
