NVIDIA 3D Vision USB drivers

To ensure you have the correct graphics card to run 3D vision, please refer to http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro_pro_graphics_boards.html that identifies which Quadro FX graphics cards will support 120Hz stereo.

Latest supported drivers for SOCET SET and SOCET GXP are available for download via our FTP site. To access these drivers, please fill out the FTP access request form.

Please include “NVIDIA 3D vision drivers” along with your current operating system in the Comments field. For example, “NVIDIA 3D vision drivers using Windows XP 64-bit.”

If you are experiencing this problem, please contact Customer Support by telephone or via online support request to obtain a .bat file that will resolve this issue. Please reference the “registersfa.txt” file when making your request.

1. From the Workspace Manager, open the Help menu and select About SOCET GXP.
2. The About SOCET GXP window will open and will display the version information, as shown in the example below.

If you are unable to access the About screen:

1. Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking on the Windows Start menu and selecting Explore.
2. Navigate to the directory of your SOCET GXP software installation, i.e. C:\Program Files\BAE SYSTEMS\SOCET GXP 3.0.2 Export
3. If there are no README_Patch_v302_* files in this directory, then you are not using a patch.
4. If there are README_Patch_v302_* files in this directory, locate the one with the latest date. This is the date of your current patch. For example, if the file with the latest date is README_Patch_v302_201010.log, 201010 is your current patch version.

Find your version or patch number in SOCET SET

SOCET SET users can find their version or patch number in the title bar of the SOCET SET product window, as shown in the example below.

We recommend the latest patch cluster, but at the minimum you should have the following:

Windows

1. Install the GXP License Manager.
2. After the installation completes, select from the Windows Start menu > Start > Programs > GXP License Manager > SOCET GXP Host ID / GXP Xplorer Host ID.
3. A message window will open and display a locking code in the following format:
   4-*****-10-*****

UNIX

1. Install the GXP License Manager. The default installation location is /opt/GXPLicMgr.
2. Enter the following:

   cd /opt/GXPLicMgr
   run ./socetgxp_hostid

3. This will return the locking code in the following format:

   ./socetgxp_hostid

   Sentinel LM 8.0 Host Locking Code Information Utility
   Copyright (C) 2004 Rainbow Technologies, Inc.

   Locking Code 1 : 1-2590D

SOCET SET

Windows

1. Install the GXP License Manager.
2. After the installation completes, select from the Windows Start menu > Start > Programs > GXP License Manager > SOCET SET Host ID.
3. A message window will open and display a locking code in the following format:

UNIX

1. Install the GXP License Manager. The default installation location is /opt/GXPLicMgr.
