Turn on the Auto-Pan Zone preference to pan an image automatically. When drawing a graphic that extends past the edge of the current display, a white dotted-line rectangle will appear. To continue panning and finish drawing the graphic, press the SPACEBAR and the unexposed imagery is moved into view.
The Auto-Pan Zone is delineated by the dotted white line near the edge of the image panel.
