The Visual Coverage Tool (VCT) offers functionality to graphically manage and view image data. It is used to plot image footprints over map backgrounds to visualize data coverage. VCT will be replaced by GXP Xplorer.
GXP Xplorer offers configurable functionality for locating, selecting, storing, and managing data through simple and advanced searches. Analysts can search data temporally, spatially, and by textual attributes. Search results are displayed graphically on a map with supporting text and thumbnails. A GXP Xplorer viewer is included for examining search results and selecting data for use in other applications, such as creating a PowerPoint® slide. Search results also can be shared among work groups. Data selected in GXP Xplorer can be loaded directly into SOCET GXP.
