Visual Coverage Tool (VCT)
The Visual Coverage Tool (VCT) allows for visual management of on and offline data used with SOCET GXP, SOCET SET and
VITec ELT. The tool shows footprints of all maps and images that are available on your network on either a
World Map, CADRG or CIB background. The VCT is used to easily locate and select data to load in to the geospatial
tool for further exploitation or production.
- Data can be managed from either CDROM/DVD or loaded to online storage.
- The Background Display defaults to a World Map, but CADRG or CIB backgrounds may also be used depending on the zoom level.
- The User can GEOLOCATE items by entering coordinates and the selected area will center on the display.
- Selected items or areas are directly exported to SOCET GXP, SOCET SET and VITec ELT.
Data Types
VCT displays coverage of the following data types with each having a unique color:
- ADRG - ARC Digitized Raster Graphics
- CADRG - Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics
- CIB - Controlled Image Base
- DTED - Digital Terrain Elevation Data
- DPPDB - Digital Point Position Data Base
- GEOTIFF
- NITF - National Imagery Transmission Format 2.0 and 2.1
- TFRD
- VPF - Vector Product Format
