GXP supports USO in Germany

New computer monitors offer extended communication services to armed forces.

After attending the United States European Command (USECOM) Information, Innovation, Integration, and Technology (i3T) Conference and Exposition February 13 – 16 in Munich, Germany, GXP’s Rick Racine and Steve Lossman went above and beyond the call of duty to donate three 27” LCD flat-panel monitors to the USO office in Kaiserslautern Germany. The monitors were purchased for the i3T conference to demonstrate SOCET GXP and GXP Xplorer capabilities. Because of complex shipping and customs requirements, BAE Systems decided that donating the monitors to the local USO office would be a gesture well received by the local troops stationed in Germany. The monitors are being used to enable communications such as making travel arrangements and touching base with family members.

The USO office is very grateful, and we applaud Rick and Steve for their dedication to helping our troops, which epitomizes the GXP spirit!
